At Breaking The Cycle Therapy, we recognize that addiction is not merely a lapse in willpower, but a complex physiological and spiritual depletion. Our mission is to provide an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that treats the brain and the soul with equal urgency.
We fulfill this by integrating cutting-edge medical protocols—such as NAD+ and BHRT—to repair the neurological damage of substance use, while simultaneously providing a peer-led ecosystem of accountability. We don’t just teach recovery theory; we demonstrate it through the mentorship of those who have walked the path. By moving beyond the clinic and into the community through purposeful service, we ensure our participants don’t just “get sober,” but rediscover a life worth living.
Our vision is to become the gold standard for medically-integrated recovery, moving the industry away from “revolving door” treatments toward a model of total restoration. We see a future where the stigma of addiction is replaced by the strength of “The Synergy of Science, Service, and Lived Experience.”
We envision a community of alumni who are not defined by their past struggles, but by their current contributions. As our participants transition from “takers” to “givers,” we aim to spark a ripple effect that heals families and stabilizes communities. For Breaking The Cycle, the ultimate goal is a world where recovery is not a destination, but a lifelong journey of health, connection, and high-impact service.
Life with bipolar disorder can feel like you’re constantly swinging between extremes. We offer grounded, personalized support, including medication management, that will help you manage mood changes, navigate relationships, and create the stability you need to live with clarity and peace.
Are you and your partner stuck in the same arguments, feeling misunderstood, or walking on eggshells? This treatment focuses on identifying the negative cycles of communication (the “dance” you keep repeating) and understanding the deeper emotional needs underneath the conflict. We’ll use methods like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you both move from fighting to vulnerable connection. You’ll learn essential skills to express yourselves clearly, listen without becoming defensive, and resolve conflicts in a way that actually brings you closer. The goal is to transform fighting into teamwork.
When busy lives, stress, or unresolved hurts lead to an increasing sense of roommate status, this treatment can help reignite your spark. We address the emotional barriers that create distance, helping you both feel safe enough to reconnect. We focus on rebuilding trust, emotional safety, and physical/sexual intimacy. Utilizing approaches like the Gottman Method, we’ll create practical steps to increase positive interactions, “turn toward” your partner’s bids for connection, and restore the affection and passion that may have faded.
Discovering or confessing an affair is a profound wound, but it doesn’t have to be the end of your relationship. Our approach to infidelity is structured and compassionate, guiding the hurt partner through the stages of grief and anger while helping the offending partner understand the impact of their actions and take responsibility. The three phases of therapy include: 1) Atonement and stabilization (managing crisis), 2) Understanding and insight (exploring why the breach occurred), and 3) Vision and commitment (deciding to move forward and rebuilding a stronger, transparent relationship). We focus on establishing new boundaries and repairing the foundation of trust.
The shift from a couple to a family unit is one of life’s most challenging transitions, often resulting in resentment, exhaustion, and feeling like the parenting duties outweigh the partnership. This treatment offers strategies for balancing parenting roles and partner needs. We help couples improve their ability to co-parent effectively, navigate disagreements about child-rearing, and – critically – make time for the relationship. We’ll work to manage stress, restore fairness in responsibilities, and protect the couple’s bond from being completely overshadowed by family demands.
Recovery is most effective when it isn’t a solo journey. Through our exclusive partnership, we provide a dual-track approach that heals the individual and the home simultaneously.
