The Sanctuary Circle

Facilitator: Brooke Morris with Aisling

Time: Tuesdays at 6:30pm CST starting February 3rd 2026

Cost: Free (females only group)

Description:The Sanctuary Circle is an 8-week, trauma-informed support group for survivors of sexual trauma, offered on a rolling basis throughout the year. Facilitated by Brooke Morris with Aisling, this group provides a consistent, compassionate space where survivors can reconnect with themselves, build supportive connections, and move forward at their own pace.

At the heart of The Sanctuary Circle is safety, choice, and respect. Participants are never pressured to share details of their trauma. Confidentiality, autonomy, and the right to pass are foundational, allowing each person to engage in ways that feel supportive and empowering. While the past is acknowledged with care, the group emphasizes present-day coping, healing, and future-focused growth.

Over eight weeks, participants are gently guided through themes such as building safety and trust, understanding trauma responses, reconnecting with the body, navigating emotions with self-compassion, rebuilding relationships, releasing shame and self-blame, and rediscovering meaning and purpose beyond what happened to them. Sessions blend psychoeducation with grounding practices, creative expression, optional movement, discussion, and practical tools that can be used outside of group.

Each meeting begins with a gentle check-in and ends with a grounding or affirmation practice. Art materials, journaling supplies, fidget tools, and other supportive resources are always available, and multiple participation options are offered to honor different comfort levels and needs.

The Sanctuary Circle is for survivors seeking a steady, supportive environment where healing is not rushed, all feelings are welcome, and personal strength is recognized and celebrated. This is a space to be believed, supported, and reminded: you are more than what happened to you, and you do not have to walk this path alone.
